To serve our fatherland,

Each & everyone of us
The labour of our heroes past
We fail to regurgitate
Why! oh, why are we not making moves that will last?
From Sir A to Lord Z, it is still the same song
Corruption! Corruption!
This chant will last, but for how long?
There is a time to talk and a time to act
Enough is enough of all the complaints
Now, we need to take a stand and kick start
Nigeria, the source of my nationality
To You, I pledge my loyalty
To serve with the best of ability
And bring to You honour and dignity
From the shores beyond this locality.
